Dr. Byrd currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Faculty at UNC Chapel Hill SSW. She earned her DSW from the University of Southern California (USC) and her MSW from Howard University in Washington, DC. She also serves as the Vice-President of the North Carolina NASW Board of Directors.
